JOB

I start a new job 4-24-12. I will be working as a PART-TIME Academic Advisor at Ole Miss-Desoto Campus. I am very excited. The position has paid benefits, 20 hour work week, and most importantly I get to spend more time with my baby boy!

We have prayed and feel like we are being obedient in our decision. It is stepping out in faith as we will take a paycut. Please pray for us as we transition... New jobs are great, but change is often very stressful. Oh, and did I mention Brent will be in Chicago for a conference when I start :)

1 Year Dr Visit

After a year Miles weighs 21.6 lbs and is 28.25 in tall! I'm pretty sure he's going to be vertically challenged much like his parents :)

He is walking and jabbering all the time! He is in a very "mommy" stage of his life right now. If I leave the room he is screaming and running behind me! I love that he wants his mommy.

Miles loves throwing the ball... and we cannot go through a whole day without watching the Bubble Guppies. In fact, in the morning he mutters "bubb bubb bubb." We finally figured out that he wanted to watch Bubble Guppies, sure as we turn the TV on he gets the biggest grin on his face. Needless to say, we have memorized every episode, all 21 that we have recorded on DVR.

Next, we transition into losing the bottle, gone by 15 months!

On Miles' first birthday we decided to take him to the Memphis Zoo! We had so much fun :)

Happy 1st Birthday!!

So far we've only had time to celebrate his first birthday with my family in Jackson! We had such a good time. Gramma made sure everything was decorated so cute! This boy is so loved! I hope one day he knows how much! Enjoy the story of the party through these pictures!

Happy Easter!

We spent Easter in Batesville. Before my camera went dead I got a lot of pictures of Miles! I'll just post a few of my favorites. The Easter bunny did stop by to leave a small football and Bible Song CD. He's only ONE... so we asked the Easter bunny not to go overboard!

My Aunt Jackie loves Charlie Brown... and she loves buying Miles clothes! She bought him this super cute outfit at Children's Place! The pants are a little long, but he looked adorable in them! Enjoy our little "Linus!"
