Dinner time is fun time!
Tonight we tried hot dog! Most of it made it into his mouth. This boy is too much fun at dinner time. Most of the pictures I get of him are in his high chair b/c that's the only time I can get him still enough to let me snap a few shots!!

9 months
Every time I do one of these post I ask myself, "Where has the time gone?"
With that said, this month has by far been my favorite month! One reason is because Miles has mastered the MMMMM sound, YAY, so I get lots of mamamamama's! After months of adadada I couldn't be more elated! And, he says it when he sees me and wants to be held. I think he gets it, I'm mamamamama! Only time will tell, until then I can spin it however I want :)
We go to the doctor today for a wellness visit so I'll update his weight and height on next post.
**STATS**
-Moving up to a size 4 diaper
-Wearing 9 month clothes mainly, some 6 if they run big, and some 12 if they run small
*We have 6 teeth, 4 on top and 2 on bottom, and there is another TOOTH on the way...
-He can pretty much pull himself up on anything. He is showing tendencies that make me think he'll be walking soon. He pulls up and tries to balance... and when he crawls he gets his butt up in the air real high like he's trying to figure out how to stand up! I'm saying this will be the month Brent and I get in shape from chasing him!
*Miles likes to mimic sounds. And, of course like I mentioned earlier the MMMM sound, OOOO sound, and DDDD sounds are pretty frequent.
*He can clap h is hands on cue! He loves watching Bubble Guppies (on Nick Jr) and when it comes on I say "YAY, clap" and he'll grin real big and start clapping! It's really sweet!
-Oh my word at how independent he is becoming! Miles loves to eat table food/puffs/gerber cheetos, BUT he only likes to eat them if HE gets to put them in his mouth. I tried to give him one he dropped, he pushed my hand out of the way... so I set it down on his highchair tray and he picked it up and ate it! He won't let you hold his bottle unless he's going to sleep. SO now in the mornings I hand him a milk bottle and let him do his thing!
*MILESTONE* Separation Anxiety :/ It's bittersweet. It's neat watching him learn about his surroundings and knowing that Brent or I are not in them. But, its sad that I have to leave him. The nights have been rough... When he wakes up and realizes we're not around he gets M-A-D! All I have to do though is pick him up, rock with him, and sing him a song. Last night the wheels on the bus went round and round and round... Well, you get the picture! We went from 4-5 wake-ups at the beginning of the night to 2 last night. We're just being consistent with putting him right back in the crib after he gets back to sleep. I will NOT do the cry it out method. I don't like it one bit. I also won't have him sleep in my bed, for other more adult reasons! So, I guess I'll invent my own method to establish healthy sleeping behaviors through this anxiety phase!
**Note to self** This was the first month Miles threw a full on tantrum! He laid in the floor and screamed and slapped his hands on his chest. It was because he was playing with something he didn't need to and Dadda took it away! Brent and I looked at him and laughed. After a minute of confusion, Miles started laughing too. Hopefully, we won't have many of those! They won't always be funny, and the consequence will not be laughter as he gets older!!!!

I'm going to have a NEPHEW!!!
I think that is pretty clear!!!! I could barely tell on my sonogram picture that Miles was a boy. The picture was soooo small, thank God for the arrow that said BOY or I wouldn't have known what I was looking at. My sister's sonogram pictures have been way better than mine were! Needless to say, I am very excited to have a nephew on the way! Miles will have a little boy cousin in June! Our lives will never ever be the same! :) So thankful to God for the blessings of babies in our family!
